The World Cup has passed and Europe can relax. However quite a few households had their problems as the men cleared the decks to see the next match. Women usually ended up feeling neglected and these two cartoons from Bischofsheim's 'Lokal-Anzeiger' of the 24th June 2010 probably caught the mood.

"Anything to say dear before the first match starts?" is probably not the most tactful remark. Whilst "Thank God the game's not started yet!" probably wouldn't get his marriage off to a good start.
