A final honour for Reinhard Bersch?

The Lokal-Anzeiger of the 31st of March 2011 carried an article obout the retiring Mayor.

Just before the Mayor's term of office came to an end he received a special honour. He was on a trip to America with a politically orientated group. On the trip a visit to the White House in Washington had been arranged. On late afternoon visits there was sometimes the possiblity of visiting the President's office. This was true for this particular Thursday and to their great joy they found Barak Obama himself there. Reinhart begged several visiting cards with the President's signature on them and they were offered as a present when buying cofee in the Bäckerei Schneider in Rheinstraße on a 'first come first served' basis.
